Use this to ...

• Make two lines the same length or two arcs/circles the same radius.

• Keeps the amount of sketch dimensions down.
• Conveys design intent of always keeping the two curves the same length.
• The Equal constraint displays as a set of equal signs display on the curves that are equal.

Process: Setting Two Curves to be Equal

1. Click Equal on the Features and Relationships toolbar.

2. In the Graphics window, pick the first curve.

3. Pick the second curve. The first line modifies to be the same length as the second line or the first arc/circle changes to the same radius as the second arc/circle.

Tips

A line and an arc cannot be made equal to each other.
