Vitamin A is directly responsible for the strength and power of the eyes. Therefore, foods that are rich in vitamin A should be taken. Vitamin A is found in all vegetables and yellow orange such as carrots, oranges, pumpkins and fruits like mangoes, papayas and oranges. Green leafy vegetables like spinach, cilantro and taro also contain vitamin A. Among non-vegetarian food, fish, liver and eggs contain vitamin A. Dairy foods also have a good amount of vitamin A in them.

Including vitamin C in the diet reduces the risk of cataracts. Has vitamin C foods such as Indian gooseberry, guava, orange, lemon and tomato, peppers, cabbage, etc., must be integrated into the diet.

Home Remedies for Common Eye Problems

Prepare a mixture of identical proportions of aniseed powder and coriander powder. It is mixed with an equal weight of unrefined sugar. Taken in doses of 12 grams each morning and afternoon. It is useful for people with cataracts.

For people with weak eyesight, taking a mixture of juices from raw carrot and parsley in a glass daily amount will provide great benefits.

Mix one part sugar to three parts of cilantro. Grind into a fine powder and put this mix in boiling water. Stay covered for an hour. Then filtered with a clean cloth. Use the deposit as eye drops. This is an effective treatment for conjunctivitis.

Soak almonds in milk overnight and keep them in the morning, mix the milk with sandalwood. Apply it gently on the eyelids. This reduces the redness of the eyes due to physical exertion.

Inhaling the odors of sesame mixed with honey reduces excessive watery eyes.

Take two small pieces of cardamom. Crush and dissolve the powder in milk. Boil the milk and drink at night. This makes the upper eyes.
